Harry Truman's Little White House
Harry Truman notably used Key West as a getaway from Washington, loving the city for its laid back vibe and charming atmosphere. He spent so much time here that his home became known as the "Little White House", where he spent 175 days of his presidency! Visitors can tour the museum that showcases Truman’s residence and the site of his presidential activities, and get a true glimpse into how our 33rd president lived his daily life.
This summer, the Little White House is organizing several events, including the TRU-ly Amazing Art series and Truman’ s Tropical Fruit Festival. Join the paint and sip evening on August 10th, or explore a variety of tropical fruits at the festival on June 15th.
