House was very welcoming and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is an easy walk to Duval and many sights.

We had a wonderful visit to Key West and Staying at the Azul Mansion was a great choice. We loved our privet balcony. The only thing that wasn't awesome was the lack of many places to park but it was that way everywhere you went.

We stayed in Cohiba. It was the perfect location and the room was great. While it's a bit small we didn't spend much time in there. The pool area is nice and quiet and everything was very clean. We definitely will be back!

The property was very quiet, well organized and in a great location. We liked walking to local restaurants and found vibe of Key West fun. The general appearance and buildings is a Key West classic. We appreciated the method of self check in and check out. Having a spare room key in the room was a thoughtful detail. Parking though manageable was a concern but worked out in the long run. The guest kitchen was a plus and not expected. The cleaning staff kept the whole property clean, neat and well stocked. The condition of the room could use some tightening up. The bathroom needs more attention. There was paint missing around the sink, shower door was not on its track and there was mold at the base of the sliding door track. The shower control knob was old and unsightly. It would take little effort to replace it. We had to have the A/c maintenanced as it was leaking condensation in the room and when fixed actually cooled the room better. However it was way too loud when running. Bottom line for the cost, location, details and general expectations we definitely when staying in Key West will stay here.

This is our second time staying at the Azul Mansion and we will go back again! It's a quiet place to rest away from the busyness of Duval and so still so close to everything! You can easily walk to Duval, but we recommend renting a scooter or bikes. The whole property is very well maintained and clean! The room is small but has all you need. You also have the shared living areas (living room, dining room, and kitchen) and lots of deck and patio space to spread out and relax. The AC unit is perfect for white noise so you don't have to hear all the island roosters waking you up in the morning. I highly recommend this place!

We had a very relaxing stay. The communication with our inn keepers was excellent. Our accomodations were clean and welcoming.

We had a great stay! The room was clean and cozy, and had a very comfortable bed. It also offered a great outdoor space overlooking the pool, and a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee in the morning. I'd recommend the bike rental place a block over and riding bikes around the island. The house has plenty of parking for bikes and great indoor spaces to relax as well. We would absolutely book again!

Excellent location and for the most part met all our expectations. Bathroom could have used paint job and new linoleum. It does not come with breakfast as stated in Fodors. Walking distance to everything. Concierge services excellent. Limited parking !

Our room ‘Cohiba’ was clean and comfortable, small and tight. It was easy to check in and check out. Our host Melanie was very accommodating to our needs. The staff kept the common area clean and well stocked with clean pool towels, ice, coffees etc. we especially liked the refillable filtered water machine to refill our water bottles. Loved the private pool! Location was close and great for walking or biking.

The Azul mansion in key West is a wonderful place to stay if you're going to the island and don't want kids around and are looking for a quiet place to relax after your adventures. The property is perfectly located a few blocks from Duval ave. There's a bike rental place right around the corner that was fantastic to work with. There's parking which can be a bit hard to find and it comes with a lovely pool along with comfortable beds. The only reason I give general conditions 4 stars is because my room had a very strong perfume smell that was off-putting. However it was Easily remedied by opening the window and leaving the door open to air the room out. The bathroom did have a bit of black mold growing in the shower but it wasn't a real concern. I'd absolutely stay here again!

Everything was perfectly clean! The house is very well located with really good access to the different points in the island by walking! The house has a really nice decoration what makes us feel at home, comfortable and relaxed. If we came back to key west for sure we will choose this property again!!

Azul Mansion was very easy to find, amazing to stay at and hard to leave. The unit we were in was compact, but we expected that, and we spent a lot of time just enjoying the outside.

Everything was perfect & fantastic!

The unit is small, which we knew ahead of time. Everything else about it was great. The queen bed was very comfortable, and the A/C worked very well. The unit was clean. The location was perfect, close to the Duval Loop bus stop, so we didn’t need to drive while we were there. The host was very helpful.

The room was great location and loved having nice outdoor space for morning tea, breakfast, afternoon sunshine etc. Having the shared full kitchen was perfect. The interaction with staff was pleasant. I would definitely come back. I think the only item missing would be a grill as we like to buy fresh seafood and cook to enjoy the outdoor space even more. Thank you to all who made this a beautiful vacation.

The main house was very spacious and has all of the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. There is a large refrigerator, a full size oven, a toaster, a Keurig and complimentary coffee pods. The room was very clean and there is a lovely balcony where you can relax and enjoy the views. The pool is a wonderful bonus as well. The property was very clean and kept up nicely and within walking distance to Duval St.

Beautiful mansion converted into lovely suites. Ours was clean and tidy and enough space for the two of us. The outdoor area is spacious for sitting outside for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. Great communication about the property and an excellent concierge service. Beautiful part of old town and easy to get anywhere from there.

We had a great time at Azul Mansion in Key West - January was great time for a visit. We had a group of six in 3 rooms - and loved having indoor and outdoor locations to meet. We enjoyed the coffee, tea and chilled water - nice hospitality! The location to activities was good - far enough to be quiet, but close enough to walk everywhere!

Second time staying at this property. This time stayed in the Cohiba, last time the Fontena. Both excellent.
Cohiba was one of the "smaller" rooms with a queen bed. Although small, it was not too tiny for the two of us. It's extremely CLEAN and beautifully decorated! More than enough space in the dresser to put our clothes in and a rolling clothes hanger was available. Bathroom exactly as pictures. Small, but not too small. Ac worked well, and not noisy as said in some reviews. Everything Exactly as depicted in the pictures and description. The grounds and the house are immaculately maintained. It is a quiet quaint place that is a few blocks from Duval. It is very walkable. There's a CVS a block away.Parking is limited, but we were a group with 4 cars and 2 golf carts and had no issues parking. There is quite a few parking spaces also available across the street in free street parking daily. Pool temperature is kept perfectly. You feel like you are in your own home. You rarely see other guests or the workers that come by early in the day. I just LOVE IT here!

This rental was perfect for us. The pool was very clean and warm. We enjoyed that there was a filtered water machine and plenty of ice. We use the concierge service to get a scooter rental, which was easy and we had a scooter within an hour and a half of calling. We want to come back as soon as we can!

It was our first stay at Azul (in the Cohiba room) and we LOVED it. From the moment we walked in the front door, we were in awe of the beautifully kept historical interior. The aesthetic harkens back to the history of Kew West, but also has a modern, clean look with fresh colors of blues and turquoise. The grounds are lush and well landscaped. There is a secure place inside the gated grounds to lock up bicycles.

The pool is crystal clear, clean and has a beautifully tiled edge. The pool is surrounded by the mansion giving it cozy, private feel. All the amenities one could need are included - ice cold water infused with fruit available all day, fresh pool towels, plenty of deck chairs and chaise lounges to relax and nap in, a charming kitchen coffee bar, and several rooms in the mansion to sit back and enjoy the surroundings.

The room was clean, smelled good and air conditioned nicely. There were plenty of fluffy bath towels as well.

The location is perfectly located close to Duval St. and Mallory Square (not to close, not to far). Management promptly replied to questions (via text).
We can't wait to go back! :*)

The photos of Azul Mansion online do it justice - lovely rooms, lovely setting, although our room was pretty tiny, who cares? You're not in Key West to sit in your room. The lounge chairs and patio areas are lovely, the pool was clean, the bathroom had ample towels and solid water pressure (I had seen one review that questioned it) but it did seem the hot water ran out semi-quickly. The check-in and check-out process was very easy to navigate and the location is top-notch - easy short walk to Duval, Truman is a main thoroughfare but still pretty quiet in the evenings. We were in town for a music festival and didn't spend a lot of time in the room, but the bed was comfortable and we had a great stay. Would definitely stay again. If only the property could have controlled the weather - our last day was COLD (low 60s, high 50s but a 40 mph wind) and that was not fun.

We had a great time in the Cohiba suite. It was very secluded from the rest of the rooms. Easy 5 min walk to Duval, 10 mins from the beach. The ladies taking care of us were extremely friendly and responsive. We were very fortunate to find this place. The guests we encountered along the way were also extremely friendly and grateful to be here. We look forward to coming back soon!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Excellent communication from management. They even allowed us to store our suitcases after checkout so that we were able to enjoy more time on the island before our flight left. I would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our little “penthouse” room. House has everything you need including access to full kitchen in main house. Location was central, we walked to everything and got some much needed exercise. If you don’t mind walking, you don’t need a car. Loved being able to sit outside our room to drink coffee or wine, even in the rain as it is covered. Only negative is it was a little too bright at night. We were not able to turn outside lights off, probably for safety concerns I’m sure.

Beautiful and comfortable place. Very quiet and the pool was great. Easy to check in and when we couldn't figure out how to re-lock the lock box we were able to get help right away. Bad knees beware, there is one flight of stairs that you will need to go up for most rooms.

One note for Cohiba in particular - the wifi does not really reach this room so it is not great if you need to work, but the internet works great in the common areas so it wasn't a huge issue for me.

We had a great stay for 4 days. Everything was as described and the communication was great. The home was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. I really appreciated that it was close to everything but far enough away that it was quiet. I would definitely stay again. Our flight home was significantly later than the checkout time, so we were very thankful that we were able to leave our bag in the main house and still get out and enjoy the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at Azul. Centrally located in Key West. We walked to Duvall Street, Mallory Square and Hemingway’s house. We rode bikes to Smathers, Higgs beach and Fort Zachary park.
The room was comfy. The air conditioning worked well-kept room nice and cool. The bed was firm. Shower had good pressure.
The only complaint we could have, it would be nice to have curtains in addition to the blinds. The porch lights left on for safety(which is a great idea) keeps the room lightly lit. We are use to sleeping in dark.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very cozy, but we spent most of our time outside, so that was just fine. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, but could use a little repair and upgrades. The outdoor space on the balcony was perfect for our early morning coffee. The house is on a busy street, but this room is on the second level in the back and very quiet. We could walk to all the attractions and restaurants in historic Key West. The virtual concierge was responsive and very helpful with suggestions.

I can's say enough about our experience at Choiba in Key West. From the initial booking, to the up to date correspondence, virtual concierge that helped with planning excursions, dinner reservations and food tours, it was excellent. We arrived early on Friday and were able to secure a parking place. We then met Melanie who was attending the property. She welcomed us warmly and allowed us use of the facilities and kitchen even before we got our keys. The lockbox check in system was great. We then took the Key West Food Tour Perfectly timed from 11 am to 2 pm. Check in was at 300 but our room was ready early. Chohiba is nice as it is off to one side and you really feel the privacy being upstairs. The view was amazing and pool was great. We were able to Uber or walk everywhere, as its very close to the heart of the city but far enough away from the madness of Duval. I would highly recommend this property and this room to anyone.

The perfect vacation rental for couples. The pool is surrounded and is the perfect place for socializing, relaxing and catching some sun. It has a covered deck on the first floor and a sun deck on the second. Great location. It's about a 10 minute walk to Duval street or 2 minute bike ride. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and several beaches within a 5 minute bike ride. Vacationers are allowed to use the kitchen in the main house. Another added bonus are the pool and beach towels that are provided keeping you from having to pack the bulky things. They are currently doing some remodeling, but the property is still in good shape. Overall great experience. Melanie is always a phone call away and willing to help with anything you need. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at Azul in the "Cohiba" room for 3 nights in April. Great time to visit Key West. Cute room and nice privacy as it's slightly separate from other rooms. The room and bathroom are small but there is balcony space with chairs just outside. There are also couches in the house common area and a nice common kitchen w/additional Keurig coffee machine. Good location. The Dwell properties concierge service was a nice perk and the virtual innkeeper was easy to reach and very accommodating. We were able to store bags after checkout and change our clothes in a downstairs bathroom space before travel.
