My wife and I and 3 other couples stayed at Azul 7 nights to celebrate our 25th anniversary, it was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed having the kitchen at our disposal. The innkeepers even bought a new gas grill when we told them we were going fishing and wanted to grill our fish, which worked out perfectly. We caught enough fish that we had the entire complex join us for a fish dinner! The coffee in the rooms was a great addition and everything was very well maintained. I can't think of any down side other than a dishwasher would have been nice. We will return to Azul soon.

Room was tiny, no chairs, just a bed to sleep on, 2 end tables and a dresser. Coffee machine stopped working after day 1. Deadbolt would not allow you to lock it from the outside. Bathroom was tiny but adequate I guess. Location was convenient to restaurants and shops. Nice pool. Hosts were responsive to communication.

Had a great experience. The entire property was clean and well kept. The pool was a great amenity on hot days. Loved the available kitchen.

Great location and it was very nice having the full kitchen available. It was walking distance to everything we did but in a quieter area than Duval Street. The room is on the smaller side which is typical for Key West but there is plenty of outdoor space to spread out. The Keurig in the kitchen worked better than the one in our room. Water pressure and temperature in shower was not the greatest but everything else was great.

Beautiful common space and outdoor lounging areas are very nice. Rooms are small but you should only be sleeping in them. Friendly staff that kept the place nice and clean. About a ~10 min walk to downtown bars or ~2 min walk to the strip club if that’s your thing.

I stayed at Dwell with my husband for a quick getaway after the holidays for some R&R. We could not have been more pleased! Things we really took note of were the cleanliness, responsiveness of the innkeepers, and location. We definitely recommend staying here!!

This was a wonderful place! The place was very clean and overall very quiet. The rooms are smaller, but it was the perfect size to just come and go while spending most of our time out. We were able to walk to duval street but it is a long walk down to the other side of duval which has the bars. This place is closer to the shopping side of duval. The only small inconvenience is parking. The lot only holds 6 cars so then you have to find street parking. We were within a block to Azul so we didn’t have an issue. Overall we had a wonderful time at Azul and will visit again!

Propert was very clean and taken care of daily. Plenty of coffee provided in the kitchen. A few blocks walk to Duvall street. Shower had plenty of hot water also. Will stay here again in the future.

Just a few blocks from Duval St. Walking distance to almost everything. Clean room, pretty home, shared living room, kitchen and sitting room. Large pool. Can't wait to go back!!

We felt the room was very small,no where to go but on the bed. Just not great for 2 people. Shower water pressure was terrible, incredibly low. Window unit air conditioner was poorly maintained,and would not cool the room after the first day. We were awakened the first morning at 5am by the ceiling fan light coming on, we turned it off with the remote and it came back on, we were able to determine our remote and the next rooms remote worked both fans, clearly a maintenance issue. On an a positive, it was a great location, parking was adequate, original home on lower level was excellent. The property Innkeepers we definately helpful in staying in contact with us and giving helpful information.

I had a very relaxing stay at Azule. The room was immaculately clean as was the entire home. Communication with the host was a breeze The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. I loved the fact that the pool was open til 10pm. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our stay was great. Just a few electrical and water issues. Other than that it was great.

We enjoyed the older style place, pool, and friendly staff. Only negative was the room AC unit was loud and its air filter had not been cleaned.

First of all we both had a wonderful time both at Azul and Key West in general. The physical property was as listed. There was on a few mornings, not always, fruit available for the guest. We ate out every morning. The room had some maintenance issues that we felt should have been addressed before the room was rented out. The dead bolt had to be jiggled just right to work. The door stop was laying on the floor and the bathroom faucet was ready to fall off. You might say that I should have reported this but... should I have to? For the price, no. As far as cleanliness, the only problem was that we found a used k-cup in the Keurig machine! Gross! It makes me wonder what else was not cleaned. The walls are thin as we heard our neighbors.
Also the cleaning crew was VERY loud. It was hard to relax at the pool with them talking like we didn't exist. Inside voice please. On the plus, the pool was wonderful and any contact that we had with the personal was wonderful. Overall we had a wonderful time. Location is great. Close to a local bar (Don's) and a nice Nicaraguan restaurant. Try this place, I would recommend this place for future travelers.

We stayed in the Cortez room and enjoyed our three day stay, particularly the pool and all the porch and deck space. The rooms are not large but serviceable. The location was about a mile walking to historic Key West as driving into the historic district is a crowded and parking is expensive. We had left an antique sewing kit in the room and my attempts to contact anyone post stay have not been answered.

This is a gem and it's in a great location. We were concerned about the self-service check-in, but it was not an issue. We always were able to make contact when needed and we were delighted to meet one of the innkeepers a few times over our three nights there. We definitely would return here!

It was a studio, so that is what it is. Lovely old Victorian. I love the cold water dispenser. Cleaning crew was very helpful. We walk everywhere so I got my steps in. At least five miles a day. We would happily stay again

The Azul property was perfect for us! It was super clean and inviting atmosphere. We absolutely loved our 2nd floor balcony room, the pool and the entire property. Close, but not too close to the action, which made it quiet and secluded. Our only transportation was the bikes we rented and this made is very easy to get around the town. It's just a 4-5 min bike ride to anywhere we wanted to go from Duval St., the marina, Front street or any location on the gulf side. We didn't go to the beach on the south side, but it would've been near the same distance. This was our first experience with an unmanned 24 hr property, but any time we had a question or needed something they were just a phone call away and VERY attentive. My calls were always answered. We ran out of pool towels and didn't realize until 9pm, but someone was right there to tell us where the secret stash was. We are 100% definitely going to look into this property for our next visit!

We have nothing negative to say about Azul Mansion, the location was perfect. It was close enough to everything without being right in the middle of it. We walked and scootered everywhere. The Cortez room was the perfect size for a couple, and was outfitted with everything you need for your stay. My boyfriend and I kept saying we’d never stay anywhere else, so we will be back for sure!

Azul was a lovely place to stay on our visit to Key West. Everything looked and smelled clean and fresh. The room was small, but that was not unexpected. We lounged in the pool one afternoon. It was the perfect temperature and partially shaded, so I could hide from the sun for a little while. I liked the little touches, like a cold water carafe with fruit floating in it, plenty of towels for the pool, a coffee machine in our room and the kitchen, and quaint spaces to hang out. This would be a great place to rent for a family reunion.

I LOVED my stay in Cortez. The entire experience from check in to check out. The rooms are very comfortable / clean and smell good. The pool is beautiful and clean. The location is easy and walkable to all of the restaurants / shops / things Key West has to offer. I especially appreciated the hospitality of the property managers when my flight got delayed and felt they truly went the extra mile in service. I would recommend this property 1000%. I was traveling solo for work but will come back here with my husband very soon!

We had a great stay, the property is awesome however there is no staff on site. This isn't a problem just an FYI. Our room was 2nd floor pool side, small but clean and modern. The AC is a little noisy. The area is very busy however the parking is off street in front of the mansion. Looks like room for 7 or so cars. The pool was heated and awesome. Many seating options outside make enjoying the property a breeze.

This location is very convenient and quiet. We were able to get everywhere on bikes using back streets to avoid traffic. Plus, there’s a nicely stocked mini mart on the next block.

This property is located approximately 2.5 blocks from Duval St. The property is well kept and clean. All rooms are located upstairs so be prepared to carry your bags up. There is a kitchen downstairs if you wish to prepare any meals. I was very impressed with the honesty and integrity of the staff. I left my jewelry and did not realize it. I called it had been turned in. All contents in tact and arrangements were made to send to me. That above all made the biggest impact. Many thanks to you and your staff.

The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff was very kind and attentive to your needs. There was an issue with a door that someone broke, and it was repaired immediately. The pool temperature was perfect and the pool was very clean. They always had ice water, coffee, and hot tea available for you to have at any time. Parking was tight but available and free. It was easy to walk everywhere downtown, or you can rent a bike down the road. It’s the perfect quiet location for a getaway.

I visit Key West often and have typically stayed in one of the “chain” hotels or condo communities on the island. In my search this last time, I kept coming across this property. I read the reviews and thought I’d give it a shot. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! This property is beautifully decorated and immaculately kept. The rooms are nicely furnished and the virtual housekeepers are attentive and make every effort to ensure you have a flawless stay here. The pool is perfect after a busy morning or evening on the island and I had it to myself nearly every use during my stay. They offer all of the amenities you might need and if they cannot personally provide them, they will offer you assistance in doing so. Just a wonderfully quiet and restful home. Truly a gem. Close to Duval and really within walking distance of all of my favorite island stops. You won’t be sorry!

Our stay at the Azul Mansion was perfect and we will return for our next trip. The location in the historic district was perfect to jump on the scooter rented right down the street and hit any corner of the key in 5 minutes. The room was clean, cool, and very comfortable. Pool and common areas were perfect for what we wanted. Other guests were respectful and fun to hang out with. We would recommend for sure and will stay there on our next trip!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to everything by a short walk. The pool was a fantastic respite after a day's walkabout. Our room was cozy, but seemed roomy with the tall ceilings. Nice bed and bath with modern amenities, but seemed to have old fashioned touches, particularly the main old house. Loved the water cooler always available with fresh and fruity drinking water. The walk to Duval did get to us after the first day because of the heat, but we rented a golf cart the second day and had a blast! Overall a very positive experience and we loved it!

Exactly the accommodation I was looking for when vacationing in Key West. I was more interested in staying in a house type accommodation versus a hotel. House keepers clean well beyond what you would see in a hotel setting. I felt very comfortable staying there. Directions on checking in/out were very clear. I was able to leave my car in the parking lot and walk to all tourist spots, including the Hemingway House and Truman's house. I would definitely stay here again in future visits and recommend to friends and family.
