FONTANA @ Azul Mansion Key West

We had a wonderful stay in Key West. The property was within walking/biking distance to all the local restaurants and bars. We loved how all the rooms were surrounding the pool. It was definitely a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Great location. Pool was nice. Main house was beautiful. The room was very small. Ideal for one person. Two of us stayed and it was tight. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Overall, a great place to stay.

We stayed four nights at AZUL Mansion. It was the most relaxing stay ever. Azul is a beautiful place to stay. It was clean, quiet and cozy. It provided everything we needed for a most comfortable stay. It is conveniently located in Key West so we could walk to shopping, dining and the beach. I would not hesitate to stay there again. My daughter & I loved it. Next time we come to Key West, They will be the 1st place we call for a fun, safe, convenient place to stay. Thank you so much!!!

Wonderful five night stay at Azul. Was out and about for most of the time and I used the common areas and pool a few times and I found the property to be well-maintained, clean, staff was great, other guests were really nice and polite and everything was as advertised and assured. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed the Fontana Room at Azul Mansion. We were able to park on-site and check-in was very easy. It was walking distance to everything: Smathers Beach, the Southernmost Point, and Mallory Square. The pool was nice, and the amenities were great: fresh, cold water always available; Kuerig and pods in the room; plenty of towels including pool towels. Only downside was the pool lights shown into the room at night so room darkening curtains would be good. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place! The main house is beautiful and very welcoming with fresh fruit in a bowl on the table and refreshing fruit infused water in the entryway. Check in was quick and easy. The room is definitely small and could really use some more hooks and/or a small table or chair. However like the rest of the property it was very clean, super cute and worked perfectly. And where the room might have been on the smaller side, the towels made up for it by being on the bigger side! Pool area was good and we met a lot of the other guests there as well. Location great, we were able to walk everywhere. Lastly, the Property Manager was wonderful! Very responsive to questions and offered up a great suggestion for a meal off the beaten path. Our flight home was well after check out and we were told we could leave our luggage in the main house, relax by the pool or just hang out in the air conditioning until it was time to leave. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the Azul to others!

Very nice place, clean, and updated. I would recommend a maintenance check more frequently. Upon entering, the toilet cover was broke, bulb was out in bathroom, and shower knob was leaking.

This place was clean, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The location was perfect, just a couple blocks from Duval St. In old town, walking distance to everything. Our stay was almost perfect, except the A/C was hooked up to an on/off switch with the lights and we had to text the staff to figure out how to turn it on. Otherwise a perfect stay! They even let us hang out with our luggage and swim after we checked out since we had a later flight home. Highly recommend this place!!

Right near the heart of the action in Key West! It was a short walk to Duval street and all the restaurants. The room was beautiful and right off the pool. Clean and tidy and a unique home! Really enjoy our stay.

We had a great stay at the Azul Mansion in Key West! It is in a great location and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit on the island. Check in and check out was very easy and flexible with the drop box, which was great as we got there quite a bit later than expected. The inn itself is very cute and was decorated very nicely for Christmas during our stay. We only used the pool once because there were so many other things to do but it was very clean and nice! A good value and a great time!

I couldn’t say enough great things about Azul Key West! This was our first trip to the Keys and I have to say, Azul did spoil us. When we go back, I won’t even attempt to search other properties because Azul was a perfect fit for us. The management company explained every step of checking in/out via email and text messages, which I loved. We needed wash clothes, and they were there within the hour delivering them to us. For not being on site, that was incredible service! They had every detail covered. The room was clean, the house was cozy and inviting. Loved having the pool and water and ice machine steps away from our room.

What a great find. Close enough to walk to the center of town, but far enough to avoid the crowd. The Azul Mansion was perfect. Very clean and it had everything we needed. The pool was a delightful plus and it was so nice meeting other guests in the pool afternoons. We will definitely be back.

After last minute searching for just a place to rest and shower within my budget, I was fortunate to find a room available at this sweet gem of a Mansion! Clean, clean, clean, and comfortable and tastefully decorated with many sweet amenities. One of the lovely & pleasant managers was on site and busy tidying up. We stayed in Fontana and the clear pool was just outside our door. The main house was spacious and beautiful with choice of rooms to sit back and chill or read or nap...although there's no time for that when you're in the Keys. Just blocks away from Duvall the neighborhood was quiet and safe for a night stroll. Loved this place and would highly recommend with a 5

This is a small, fairly peaceful, and elegant property on Truman Ave not too far from the hustle and bustle of Duval St. Each room is individually named. My unit was called “Fontana.” It was literally steps from the pool. The property has a main house with a fully equipped kitchen, two sitting rooms and a dining room. Guests are all welcome to use, according to the information I was given. The property is very well maintained. There is some “first-come, first served” off-street parking, which wasn’t an issue for me, having flown down and was (mostly) walking. Duval is a moderate walk for anyone in reasonably shape. Overall, this is a very nice, well run establishment. The only reason I don’t give it 100% is that the room, and especially the bathroom, are a bit on the “snug” side. I’m “mature sized,” the shower stall took a little navigating. A few more pluses before I forget, there’s a couple of good restaurants and a liquor store close by, and a good water and ice dispenser near the pool. There’s also a CVS not too far down Truman for essentials. And there’s a large assortment of K-cups and fixings in the shared kitchen. Guess that’s all I can think of now, I know I’ll be back!

It’s an elegant place on Truman and not to far from Duval. The main house has many sitting rooms as well as a nice kitchen. The bedroom is like your own little bungalow. The pool is great and surrounded by the main house and all of the bungalows. Rooms are nice and quiet. There are many restaurants nearby by including one right next door, Seven Fish, which I highly recommend (reservations are required on open table). This is a well maintained place to stay, just keep in mind that parking is on a first come first serve basis in the lot but still plenty of parking on the street. If you fly in, save your money on getting a rental car and use Uber or rent a golf cart nearby. We will be back to this wonderful place.

We loved this spot. Even though it is on a buy road, it is private and quiet with a nice pool. The room was clean and the bed super comfy! We rented bikes as parking is difficult in KW and this spot was close to everything!

Azul Key West was a great place for my husband and I to stay for our extended weekend trip. The location was a few blocks from the action of Duval. The staff was extremely friendly and had recommendations for activities and places to eat. The pool was right outside our door and clean. Unlimited coffee and water for guests. Our bed was very comfortable and affordable. We recommend and hope to stay again soon.

In town for Fantasy Fest. Arrived after midnite (which Azul was aware of), had some trouble finding Fontana because the lights and TV in the room were on and shades were open so we didn't approach that room to look at the name because, from what we could see, it sure looked to be occupied.
That was our only issue the entire stay. At one point we requested clean sheets, they made them available. We needed a scissors to modify a costume, they told us where we could find one in the common area.
Azul is located a bit far from the heart of FF but we worked it out.
With that in mind, I would recommend Azul!!

Re: maint: the toilet seat is loose and the control for the faucet needs to be tightened. Couple more hangers would be helpful.

lousy parking option. space for 6 cars, but had many more guest rooms. no one is there to greet you or oversee the property. low insulation. people upstairs walking and bumping around upstairs is noisy and interrupts sleep. window/door coverings are horizontal blinds which do not provide privacy. We had to cover them with towels

Azul is located in the perfect spot! Not too far but not right off of Duval. Very quick walk or bike ride to get anywhere. The citrus water was delicious! Loved the open concept of the courtyard with the rooms surrounding the pool!

Wish there would have been a little more shelves/storage (especially in the bathroom) inside the room and a couple more outlets in the room but otherwise very satisfied. Will definitely be recommending this location for family and friends!

Lovely place but the noises from people above us and the air conditioning was bothersome. We had to shut the air off at night because of how noisy it was. The fan helped keep it cool while sleeping. My husband liked the central kitchen. He would go there in the morning to read and have coffee since there weren’t any chairs in the room. Walking distance to attractions was a bit longer than we thought so on days we were too tired we took a Lyft.

Started our vacation in the Cohiba upstairs for 3 nights. We decided we needed one more day to fit everything in that we were hoping to do and the reservation people through Azul were incredible in helping us secure one more night in the Fontana downstairs.

Rooms were very clean and all you need in KW! The house is awesome. You will enjoy the craftsmanship and the simplicity of the self check-in. There's more parking available in the drive than I had anticipated, just FYI.

The only hiccup we had the entire time was that the shower leaked really bad in the Cohiba room. But not complaining.

You will love it at Azul.

The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. We were able to check in a bit early and leave our luggage at the location in a common area for a later departure. We even were able to sit in the common area - which also has a bit kitchen and a bathroom - for a couple of hours after checkout since it was pouring rain outside. It's located in a quiet area. It's a bit of a ways from the main drag (Duval) but we don't mind walking. It's close to the cemetery, which we loved. It was fantastic having use of the pool! I also loved being able to communicate completely via text. Thank you for a great stay!

Property management was very helpful with texts prior to checking in.Room was very clean, comfortable bed.alittle small but we weren't in the room a lot. Pool and common area was great. We rented bikes and were able to get most places with five or ten minutes. Were already looking to rebook for next year

The unit was clean and well appointed. No issues at all except the size of the bathroom was a bit tight. The location was great, we were able to park the vehicle and ride bikes or walk everywhere, yet it was still quiet. If ever in Key West again, I would not hesitate to stay here.
