I stayed in the Fuente room, it was nicely appointed and great size. The furnishings were all new the room had ample windows and lighting. The mansion itself was gorgeous with Old Key West vibes. It's a short walk to Duval but also Ubers are quick and cheap if you prefer. Communication with the managers was also good.

Super easy rental. Your host's are on top of every detail. Easy in, easy out. Need help with dinner plans? Need to leave your bags before or after your stay? All you need to do is ask. Great time, great experience. We would stay again for sure.

I approve of what Dwell is doing with these old historical homes, and for the most part, they do a good job. We booked this room from the Dwell properties because our first choice did not have available rooms during our dates, but Azul had a shared kitchen and we thought that would do.
Fuente is upstairs, and has windows on three walls. Outside every window is a large light. These lights go on at dusk and remain on thru morning. The windows are huge. They have cheap plastic mini blinds which are old and broken in some places. The light comes streaming in. You can read in bed without interior lights. My husband slept with a pillow on his head, I thankfully packed eyeshades. Our inquiry to the innkeeper resulted in a “could care less” attitude and being told to put pool towels over the windows. Well, even my 6’4” husband isn’t tall enough to get a towel over the window, nor are the towels even remotely large enough! My husband wants me to mention the decibel level of the AC unit. For me it was white noise, for him it was problematic.well he had a pillow to lessen it.
The bathroom is small, functional, if you can forgive the wonky faucet on the sink. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee pods sugar and creamer. Items to actually cook with? Not so much. My husband opened a can with garden shears because there was no can opener, despite asking the innkeeper for one 2 days earlier, and neither is there a spatula, so if you had delusions of making a pancake, get over it. So while there IS a shared kitchen, it’s quite obvious that you aren’t actually supposed to COOK in it.
Others have remarked on the parking and we were lucky to find either street parking nearby or a spot in the gravel.
The pool was nice to have, there were plenty of chairs and floats for guests to use.
There is no housekeeping. We were there for 4 nights . You can get clean towels if you catch a girl and ask

We had a great time in Key West and staying at the Azul Mansion. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do and so lovely to sit and enjoy our morning coffee outside.

This is our second time staying here. The place is very comfortable and open. It's like home away from home. My only issue is they need to install mini splits for A/C. The window A/C units are extremely loud. We did have one instance where the Smoke detector was going off all night. I believe it was because of the humidity.

Great location -central old town-reasonable and enjoyable walks to most anything key west. Clean comfortable accommodations. Quiet. Nice heated pool. Great communication with the InnKeepers.

Azul is a beautifully manicured and well cared for historic inn. It is ideally situated in the center of Old Town - easy walk to everywhere near Duval!
The innkeepers have thought of everything to make guests stays enjoyable! Rooms are perfectly appointed with all amenities. The beds and pillows are wicked comfortable. Temperature control is ideal. The rest of the old historic home is at your disposal too. We found it helpful for my husband who gets up early to go downstairs, make a cup of coffee and read, without disturbing me or other guests before I got up.
Location is very quiet even though it's on a sort of busy road.
Having a kitchen on premises is super nice for reheating leftovers and storing drinks in the fridge! Plus, there are utensils and all the fixings for coffee or tea 24/7! Even though there's a small fridge in each room, if you want to keep larger items, it's there for you. Will definitely return!

A word to the wise... there is very little place to park. If you bring a vehicle and are lucky enough to obtain a spot at the inn, plan to leave your car there the entire length of your stay. Everything is in walking distance plus there are mopeds and bikes to rent a block away. We rented a moped and are very glad we did. It allowed us more freedom to see more of the island. If you plan to stay around Old Town, you'll be all set walking but bring good walking shoes!

The innkeepers also provide a superb concierge service. USE THEM! These girls are awesome and know so much about the island - where to go to eat, what excursions to plan, etc. They handle all the bookings for you! I can't recommend them enough.

This place was great. The room we stayed in (Fuente) was one of the larger ones and it had plenty of space. The pool was heated despite the cooler temps this week which was a welcome surprise. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure the price point was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Fuente @ Azul Mansion. The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. The a/c unti kept the room cool without any issues, and we liked having the Keurig in our room. We got good use out of the heated pool and the complimentary water cooler with fresh fruit was much appreciated after a hot day. The location was perfect, a short walk to Duvall Street, and the bike rack on property was great for storing our rented bikes. We were attracted to the Adults Only factor and it really made our time on property relaxing and peaceful. We can’t wait to go back!

I stayed in the Fuente room and it was everything I was hoping and more! The king size bed and pillows were literally the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The room is spacious and comes with a keurig to make your morning coffee. The bathroom had just the right amount of room. Everything was really clean. The best location and we enjoyed the extra amenities as well. I would definitely one back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Azul Mansion. I would have liked to been informed that the deck wasn't completed. When we booked in July, the site stated the deck construction was being done in June and it wasn't completed by the end of July when we stayed there. I see they now have removed the word June since it still isn't completed. It was something we were looking forward to sitting out on and we needed to walk through the house to the front and walk around the back to get ice and also to get to the pool. The room was very spacious and clean. The innkeepers were quick to respond. The house is in a nice quiet area and we walked to Duval St. and the surrounding areas each day.

Azul hotel is beautiful!! Immaculately clean, amenities as described, accurate photos, quiet and yet close to action.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was just far enough from Duvall street that we could relax, but also close enough to walk. We appreciated the fresh ice water that was available in the lobby during the day and the ample k-cups for the coffee maker. Our innkeeper was very responsive via text. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, beautiful setting, close to bike rentals and close to the trolley. Easy to walk to Duval Street. Clean and bright room with lots of nice outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the evening.

Overall, we had a very nice stay in the Fuente room at the Azul Mansion. The room's furnishings were fine, the bathroom was fine, and the mansion was fine. On top of that, for our needs, the location was superb--centrally located for all the activities we accomplished. It really helped that the weather all week was great, but if it hadn't been, I'm sure we'd still have been pleased with our stay. When the time comes, we'll be back!

Very easy and clean. Extremely easy self-check in, remote assurance when needed and friendly co-habitants helped make a fun and safe stay. We were in town for a friend’s wedding in Key Largo and extended our stay on the front end in Key West at Azure. It was the perfect way to start our vacation and trip to the keys. Close to everything in Key west in the center of “old town” Key West. Clean and well sized rooms, clean, comfortably furnished and the amenities of the pool, multiple tiers of deck and common spaces make for many options for retreats and quiet spaces.

We had a great get away staying at Fuente! The Property was clean and very charming. They accommodated us with early check in which was great since we arrived 5 hours early. We walked most anywhere we went but there was a bike rental shop just a block away and Uber transportation was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend staying at the Azul Mansion!!

We stayed in Fuente room and loved it. It was really clean with in suite bathroom and was upstairs overlooking the pool. The location was within walking distance to Duval St and most attractions in Key West. Melinda was great host and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Only down side is there is really only 3 parking spots for a 10 room inn but this is common in Key West. I heard could be hard to find free street parking but maybe we got lucky since we found a spot just down the street. We never moved the car until we checked out few days later. Would definitely stay here again

Eager to be in the sun and fun of Key West. We found this gem. Our primary concern was location. Close enough to walk yet far enough for peace and relaxation. Azul capitalizes on the vibe of the keys. Tranquil and peaceful. A perfectly heated pool and full use of the mansion. So quiet so you can relax on the loungers and soak it all in. The decor, cleanliness, friendly staff and all around thoughtfulness by Dwell gives this vacation rental five stars.

Wonderful place. Room was great. 24 hour coffee, lemon water and oranges. We used the kitchen to fix breakfast. Pool is nice. Easy location to get anywhere on Duvall Street. Our car was parked for 3 days. We walked mostly and rented bikes one day to go to Ft. Zachary State Park. Would definitely recommend!

Our room was comfortable, spacious, quiet, and had a great view of the pool. The entire property was very clean, well kept, and had all amenities needed. We always rent bikes when in Key West, so I was a bit concerned by the level of traffic on Truman, but we quickly learned the short routes to the smaller, less traveled streets nearby, and had easy access to all points of interest. Landing approach for the airport does seem to be right over the pool, but is only active during the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautifully decorated home; loved the decor and the refreshing water that was available after being out in the heat. It was nice to have a Keurig in the room for coffee. Owners were very responsive when reaching out with questions/concerns. We rented a Scooter which was great for getting around.

A much needed escape from work/cold and cold weather. My husband was recovering from a series of maladies and needed to get out in the sun and become less sedentary. We biked everyday and did yoga in the am. We came home much refreshed and embracing a more hopeful and physically active set of habits.

Was a beautiful home and our room was quite the retreat. We enjoyed the quietness of the back of the house, we never heard the very busy front road from our back balcony. Walkable to everything if you are fit and willing.
Disappointed there was not a breakfast. I made our reservations very last minute quickly in the car and thought I had chosen a breakfast inclusion reservation. They were very helpful in out next day outings to allow use of the parking for our outings and tours.
We did not get to enjoy this beautiful room and home because of our short stay. But would be lovely to spend another few nights there to get the real feel of this amazing mansion.

We did a split stay in the Keys and our first stop was Key West for a 2 night stay. We were very impressed as soon as we arrived at the Azul Mansion! It is very well kept, with beautiful decor and woodwork. It felt welcoming from the first moment we stepped in. Our room was amazing! Much bigger than most that we had seen in the area and was absolutely beautiful! We loved the community spaces and spent some time each evening enjoying some wine and getting to know some of the other guests on the very spacious balcony. The pool was fantastic as well! We were able to easily walk to Duvall Street, Southernmost Point, Mallory Square as well as a few of the beach areas. We will definitely be booking here again for our next trip! 5 stars in every aspect.

I booked the reservation at the last minute. It was Thanksgiving weekend; the kids were gone (for the first time) and I wanted to get away. I had zero expectation for the property. I just wanted to get away.

This was my wife and my first trip to Key West. When we I arrived at the property, we were pleasantly surprised by the property’s architecture and charm. Check-in was a breeze and before we knew it were in our room. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bath was larger than most and had all the necessities. After unpacking we decided to tour the grounds.

The rooms, for the most part, faced the picturesque bool with its tropical backdrop. The kitchen was well appointed, and the main floor was comfortable and relaxing. There were bottle of water and a decorative decanter with citrus flavored water as well. The property is three blocks form Duval Street, where the main attractions are located – restaurants, shops, live music, bistros and yes... bars.

I highly recommend you organize bicycles for your means of transportation. Uber services are plentiful, but biking is a much better way to get around and see the sights.

Since our return we have recommended the Azul Key West to a number of friends and family, and we do plan to visit there again. It is well worth your time and money, if you want to kick back, relax, and enjoy a long weekend – or longer.

My wife and I stayed in Fuente for four nights and had an incredible time. The property is immaculate and the amenities are excellent. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and walking to numerous restaurants and sights. The property managers are very responsive and even provided us with a stand-up fan for my wife. The décor in the common rooms was perfect - a Christmas tree with starfish was put up during our stay! We are extremely happy with our stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommend this property!

Our stay was perfect! The location is great, property is beautiful and very well maintained and the virtual inn keepers are wonderful! The rooms are all beautiful and surround the pool so you’re never far, easily walkable or bike-able to everywhere you wanna go. If I had to nitpick it would be that our water pressure in the shower was low for someone with long hair but lord knows it didn’t bother me, we had so much fun and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else, already planning to go back!

We loved our stay at Azul. Our Fuente room was lovely, private and clean. The location was perfect- close to bike rental, pickle ball courts at Higgins Park and Duval Street. We would explore Key West then comeback for a refreshing swim in the pool. Would highly recommend staying here!

If you are looking for a nice and quiet place to stay at while vacationing in Key West, this is the one! Checking in was very simple and we walked into our room no later than one minute. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, as well as the whole property. Something to keep note of while planning activities, dinners, etc. is that you may have a 15-20 minute walk to and from (which we did not mind at all). Parking wasn’t too difficult to find...found a spot a block away by the cemetery and was comfortable leaving my car there for a few days while we vacationed. I would 100% rebook to stay here again!

This was a very pretty house and a nice change from a traditional hotel. The whole house was very clean, and kept clean while we were there. The pool was the perfect temperature and we enjoyed swimming everyday of our trip. Our room was beautifully decorated. The bed was hard in my opinion, but other than that everything was great, and we would definitely stay here again!

We had the best time staying in Fuente at Azul! We loved how bright and open the room was and enjoyed the complimentary coffee out on the porch every morning. The Azul mansion is perfectly situated 3-5 blocks from all of the restaurants, bars, and shops, so we loved that we could walk anywhere we wanted to go. The pool was refreshing and perfect for an afternoon dip. We were so sad to leave, but have been recommending Azul to everyone! We will definitely be staying here during our next Key West trip!

This property is more beautiful in person than any of these pictures can do it justice. The mansion is extremely well-kept and makes you feel right at home the minute you cross the threshold. Every single room and area of the property is impeccable! Bed was very comfortable as well.
