HAVANA VIEJA @ Azul Mansion Key West

Our stay was terrific! The house, room, and outdoor ares were beautiful and well maintained. Location is in the heart of it all, easy to walk from or ride a bike. Comfortable beds and very clean. My only gripe is that the room was very light at night. Need some dark shades on the windows.

We had an amazing experience at this home, the hosts were extremely accommodating and extremely responsive to any of our needs, the space was clean and a perfect size for a couple to stay the weekend, the main home had anything and everything we could need for the weekend.

We loved it here! We cooked breakfast every day in the main house and loved our little room by the pool! Very quiet. The mansion had a what appeared to be enough spaces for the cars that needed to park. We walked everywhere. We will come back to stay here.

This place was wonderful. I wanted to be close to everything and I was. I was going for an open water ocean swim race at a beach directly south of this location and it was a convenient walk. I was also very close to Duval Street where all the action is. The place is super clean and quiet. I was able to park conveniently across the street, (parking is first come first serve and I got there late) The pool was very nice. My room had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked so what else can one ask. The price was right for me. They also texted and emailed me everything I needed to konw. Good communicatoin.

Our room was disappointingly small.
We where located next to the pool and the pool pump ran all night long, along with the window box air conditioning. It was nights of torturous white noise coming from every angle.
The property is beautiful, well maintained and situated about a mile from Duval street.

We enjoyed our stay. There is a shared kitchen area that had coffee and cream each morning. Some guest used the kitchen to cook for themselves. Pool Towels were always available and the pool and communal areas were always clean. Parking was first come first serve. It was a challenge.

We stayed in the Havana Vieja room which was downstairs and right beside the pool. Lights stay on around the pool area all night. Everything seemed clean. The property was very quiet, adults only. Is on a main highway but traffic was pretty quiet. Occasional loud planes flying over to the airport. Our room was very small, you could barely turn around in the bathroom. No where to sit and eat if you brought food in though you could go to the dining room in the main house. Needed extra wash clothes, they were provided promptly. A suggestion might be to leave extra towels, wash clothes in the main house. We wouldn’t stay again due to the small size of the rooms.

The amenities and service were perfect and made our stay extra special. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend staying in this perfect located rental.

We had a lovely time at the Havana Vieja. Each day ew met other couples at the pool & were able to share places to visit, eat, etc.
The correspondence was timely & informative. The place was well kept, clean & had everything you can ask for. Was close enough to walk to various places. We lost electricity with a big storm that blew in but the property manager had it back on as soon as they heard about it.

Lovely property, a blend of historic and modern vibe. Great location as far as walking distance to everything in Old Town Key West. We parked and never drove our car again until we left Key West. Love the outdoor space and pool and access to the house. All the property was very clean. Appreciated the amenities of clean towels, coffee, and water. Only issues were with noise, both street noise and I think pool filter or cleaner that we heard all night. Our room was small for more than a few nights stay, no where to sit in room but the bed. Bathroom felt cramped as well but fine for just a few days. Also would be nice to have bikes available for guests. Overall we were happy with our experience at the Azul

The unit was clean, location was great, and the inkeepers were quick to respond. The only downfall was no place to charge an electric car. Other places would only let you charge if you were a guest so we had difficulty finding where to charge.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Azul Mansion. The Havana was small but very nice and comfortable. The pool and common areas were clean and well maintained. We really liked being able to walk to Duval Street. We also rented bikes to get around. We had a strange thing happen a couple of times, our ceiling fan and light would come on at random times. I suspect that another remote (probably upstairs) was probably on the same channel. A second bar of soap would be nice for the shower. The parking situation was not great, if the parking lot was paved and parking spots marked, it could fit up to 9 cars. Overall we had a great time!

Staying at the Azul Mansion was awesome. It is located just a few blocks from the free bus line that goes around old town.
The room was decent sized and having access to the main house's kitchen and full size fridge was very nice. It was a great atmosphere and it is easy to strike up conversations with the other guests in the courtyard and main house. The courtyard and pool were very nice and relaxing.

Our accommodations were clean, quiet, and well-tended, and the property was gorgeous. The location was close enough to the action that we could get everywhere on foot, but set back just enough that it was peaceful. And we LOVED the pool. I will absolutely try to stay at Azul during my next visit to Key West.

We stayed for 3 nights recently in the Vieja room. This room sits right off the pool for easy access to pool and main house. The property is very clean and nicely appointed. Very welcoming. Virtual check in process went very smooth. Parking was all taken, but we were able to get a spot right across the street and left it there for our entire stay. The room itself is very small. Not a lot of room to navigate large suitcases. Bathroom is also small, but it's vacation and who spends all the time in the bathroom?! I had read on previous reviews that the AC was loud. It was, but it actually helped me sleep. I can't sleep in total quiet. Being right outside the pool was not an issue at night. There is a curfew, and we never heard anyone late. Would definitely consider this property again. Close to town, but far enough away from the louder bars at night. 10 minute walk to Duval.

Nice place. Convenient but private feel.
We liked the combination of the older house with the common space and the private rooms. The pool area and surrounding tables/seats were an added benefit.

The Havana Vieja and Azul Mansion was exactly as described and in a quiet area. We rented bicycles which was a great way to get everywhere in an easy manner. It was really the easiest way to get to everywhere. We had a situation that was no fault of Dwell Key West or the property and they handled it quickly and in a very professional manner. I would book with them again.

Our room, the Havana Vieja, was great. Very clean and had all the extras we needed. It was a great place close to Duval and alot of activity. There is parking if you drive or rent a golf cart and the pool was nice.

Loved the location of this house. We were able to walk everywhere. Very quiet. The Havana Vieja is just off the pool on the first floor so it is very convenient. It is a very small room and bathroom but for the two of us - it was perfect.

My husband and I loved the property. It was beautiful and quiet overall. Very close to Duvall St, but on a quiet street. I felt very safe there and the pool was beautiful and relaxing. The only downside was the second day we were there we did not have hot water for a shower. I text our virtual hostess and she was great about getting a plumber to come out. She said he would not have to bother us to come into our room. I was taking a nap mid afternoon and the plumber was banging loudly on our door to get into our room to check to see if we had hot water before he performed any repair.

We LOVE this house. We stayed last year in Havana Vieja, and this year we stayed in the same room. We also brought our family with us this year and they loved it as much as we do.
The house is clean and well taken care of. We love having the room right by the pool - it’s so nice to walk out in the morning and lounge while drinking your coffee.
Roxanne is AMAZING. She was so helpful via text prior to our arrival, and we met her in person and she was full of great recommendations. When there was an issue with the pool (fixed quickly), she was informative and kept us on the loop regarding the status of the repair.
Overall, there is nothing we would change about this house and we can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Key West in the future.

The Havana Vieja room at Azul was perfect. Clean and quiet, with pool access. The house itself has beautiful sitting areas. The location was close to the bars and restaurants on Duval. The charming streets behind the house were lined with cute homes. I’d definitely stay again!

Found this location 2 days prior to arriving in KW. It was a really nice experience. Relatively easy to use the service. Our room was clean and basically used to sleep in. We used the pool which was refreshing after a long day of walking and biking. We brought our bikes and did a lot of walking. The walking was great to take pictures and explore old KW. We met a lot of really nice guests that shared different place to eat. We would definitly stay here again, and would highly recommend.

Place was very clean and comfortable. We loved using the kitchen and fixing a few meals at the hotel and eating outside our room on a lovely patio. Hotel is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Within a few minutes walk to the beaches. Close to Duvall Street and the action, but far enough away to have a relaxing evening. Would definitely stay here again!
