CAPTIVA @ Azul Mansion Key West

Would stay here again. Room was comfortable as was the bed. It was spacious. Deck area had a beautiful tropic feel.

Our stay was awesome. The property is amazing and in an excellent location. Melanie and Dan are wonderful host. Excellent communication and very attentive to your needs. Would highly recommend this property and will be staying again in the future.

Fifth time staying here and will be back!! Check in and check out was so easy!

It was very nice! The room is great for the cheaper price and location. Just what we needed and wanted. The only complaint is the bathroom is tiny and my husband has trouble sleeping so when we realized the porch lights can't be turned off that was an issue for him. The lights shined through the blinds and so it wasn't very dark in the room.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights as part of an anniversary getaway and were so impressed with this property! Check-in/out was simple & hassle free. The room, grounds, and pool were goregeous and immaculate. Although there were other guests it was very quiet and we had the pool to ourselves very frequently. The bed and linens were very comfortable. In the Captiva room we had the entire balcony of the front of the house to ourselves. It was about a 10 minute walk to Old Town, 15 to the heart of Duval and 20 to the marina. We would absolutely stay again!

We had a marvelous time, loved that our stay was easy to get to and not far from Duvall or really the harbor. Loved the pool, quite and ambiance that Azul offers. Very comfy beds and pillows! Will stay again.

This home is well-maintained, clean, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. All we needed, plus more! only warning, do not choose to stay in the Captiva room. While the location of this home is perfect (easily walk to waterfronts and Duval), and the balcony seating was nice, a restful nights sleep in the Captiva (front) bedroom is impossible. Being this was our first trip to Key West, I was unfamiliar with the heavy/loud traffic on Truman Ave. Between delivery trucks, motorcycles, surprisingly loud mopeds, revved up cars, garbage trucks, etc., you will be awakened throughout the night (and I'm not a light sleeper). If I had stayed in any other room, I would have been able to give this place a 5 rating. The owner should update the sleeping arrangements section of this particular room with some type of warning about the steet noise - bring ear plugs at a minimum!

Good place and good location

We arrived and everything was easy and as expected! The location is incredibly convenient to get to most of Key West on foot, the first floor had great ambiance - loved that there was a full working kitchen. This is also small but loved that there was always infused ice water when you walked in. We had a few hot days!
The room was clean and we loved having access to the top deck in the front of the house. In terms of noise, the only thing we dealt with was Street noise (not terrible, but it is a busier road) and other guests occasionally shutting the front door loudly.
The room was cool as well, even during the hotter humid days.
The only small suggestion I'd make is the door to the deck doesn't have a handle on the outside, which could become problematic if you accidentally shut the door a little much. We were careful! And may have missed a solution! The innkeepers were very responsive as well.
We'd stay again- encourage you check it out!

Our room was the Captiva room and it was very nice with a big king size bed and a bathroom with a walk in shower. We didn’t need to drive our car the whole time that we were there as we could easily walk to all of the local attractions. One of my favorite things was being able to make my morning coffee(there was an Keurig coffee maker in the room) and step out on the balcony to sit and enjoy the morning air. Loved staying at Azul.

Azul is a great property, we booked with friends and enjoyed the proximity to Duvall Street as well as other spots. We were utilized the shared kitchen which is such a plus, sat by the pool and also hung out on the porch after our nights out. The space was welcoming and clean and we would definitely stay here again!

The room was as described and clean. The bed was especially comfortable. The house in which our room was located was charming and reflected caring owners.

Easy access to most everything in Old Key West either by Uber, bicycle rental or walking.

We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay in the Captiva room. The property is well maintained in a great location for walking to most everything we wanted to do, and if we didn't feel like walking it was a quick Lyft. The concierge service was really helpful, and our check in was quick and easy. The balcony for this room does face the street, which we weren't expecting as you can't tell from the pics, but it was still nice enough. The pool was nice to hit in the afternoon to get some respite from the heat. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful time. Azul was a beautiful place. Very clean! Casual, but had all the amenities needed. Innkeeper was very welcoming. Loved hanging by the pool, talking with the other guests! Close to downtown too!

Pleasant stay in Old Town Key West. Easy to book. Our Captiva unit is small & faces Truman/US 1 so a lot of road noise. Nice accommodations but would book one of the other units toward the back.

Great location! Close enough to walk/bike to wherever you’d want to go and quiet enough to relax! So glad we didn’t have to worry about a car while in Key West! Azul at Key West is a beautiful property blocks from Duval Street and close to shops, bars and restaurants from the southernmost point to the other side of Duval Street to the Marina where we walked for a glorious sunset cruise complete with wine and appetizers.
And the property is a beautiful Queen Anne mansion reminiscent of the early days of Key West. We were in Captiva with a marvelous balcony overlooking Truman Street, perfect for a glass of wine in the evening and your morning coffee as you watch the beautiful rhythm of Key West. And don’t miss the Basilica of Mary Star of the Sea in the next block, a lovely tale of the protection of Key West during a deadly hurricane in the 1800s. Close to Ernest Hemingway’s home and the Truman Southern White House, it is wonderfully located.

We like to come and go freely. This was a perfect set up with a pool as a bonus. We didn't want to deal with a car and parking (expensive and limited) so we rented bikes from a place about 2 blocks away. Everything is close and flat and there were bike racks everywhere.

This property was perfect for our stay in Key West. The location was in close proximity to restaurants, bars, and shops. The house was clean, properly maintained, and amenities were plentiful. Parking was limited on the property, and there were only a few places available on the street. Next time we will ditch the rental car and take an Uber or cab to the property. We recommend renting a scooter as there are more places to park them. Customer service was excellent; checking in and retrieving room keys was easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I have nothing but good things to say. We got to spend *extra* time at the property during our time in Key West because we were hunkered down for a tropical storm one of the days! Being stuck in a hotel would normally be terrible, but I felt like I was at home in this house. Plenty of lovely places to hangout and watch the storm pass. Otherwise, it was clean, quiet, walkable to all of the things but NOT in the middle of Duval St (which is what we wanted), and the staff was friendly and responsive. I would 10/10 stay here again on my next trip!

The booking was easy and I liked the personal connection from the start w/ the Mgr. When inquiring about stay during their very booked Wk. They were prompt and accommodating. It was a good value and every area of the property was clean w/ a big “ Wow” factor for the exquisitely artistic interior decor. The pool
& patio gardens afforded a memorable experience . Only matter to contend w/ was maybe due to some the outdoor temps the water in our shower was only The water in shower was only coming out quite hot. Not very refreshing or relaxing there.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very clean, quiet, and it was nice to be able to cool off in the pool after a day of wandering around the historic district which was just walking distance away. Would highly recommend if you are a couple looking for low key & simple!

I loved the property and service, except you can hear the cars off Truman Ave, and the water pressure was horrible, along with the temperature. Other than that, I would totally stay at the property again.
