SUGAR PALM STUDIO @ Travelers Palm Inn Key West

We had a wonderful experience at this location. The area was nice and the property was WONDERFUL!!!! The studio had just enough room needed for two people and it was private and very inviting.

We had an amazing stay at the Travelers Palm. We stayed in the Sugar Palm Studio which was just perfect for my husband and I. Everything was neat and clean. The location was walkable to all main attractions: Duval Street, Southernmost Point, Key West Lighthouse, Hemingway's House, and Mallory Square. The pool was serene after walking around all day. We didn't need anything during our stay, but all communication leading to our stay was seamless.

The suite was wonderful however I would maybe suggest an area rug as the floor gets slick from the condensation of the air conditioner. The shower is huge which was awesome and the privacy was spot on. I hope we didn't leave to much glitter from our costumes. Would return.

The studio and shared spaces were very well kept. The studio was spacious. The location was a little far from the main duval action but still walkable. Surprisingly there was plenty of free street parking. The ice machine and pool towels were a nice perk. Having keyless entry would be a nice add to avoid having to carry anything.

We loved it here, the unit was pristine and comfortable, the pool was nicely shaded and extremely relaxing, and we loved having a semi-private porch. Can't wait to go back.

I was told about this location from a friend and my wife and I were very pleased with our stay. Our unit was very clean and the entire property was great. You absolutely relax when you stay here. Great location within walking distance to Duval and the historic center. I will definitely be returning for another stay.

Wonderful long weekend getaway for my birthday! Pool, waterfall & outdoor area was a godsend during July temps. Room was clean, spacious w/ comfy bed. Coffee/keurig/fridge was handy, electric tea kettle would've been nice but we made due just fine. Would highly recommend & can't wait to return!

The location was great. We were able to tour the whole city on foot although we did take the Old Trolley Tour which I would highly recommend if you’ve never visited the Keys. The full tour is 1.5 hours and you get to hop on and off all day. The drivers are awesome and give you really interesting info on the history of Key West with funny antidotes.
The rooms were fresh with updated features. Really comfy beds, nice shower, I give the room an A. Easy access and free parking. I loved the privacy aspect of property. Would stay again if we go back.

Nice place that is walking distance from almost everything but far enough away to allow for quiet evenings.
Think of the Travelers Palm as a collection of 3 units- each unit with a studio and 1-bedroom place that center around a common pool space. The pool was great for the sweltering afternoon heat.

This was a very nice, clean, well-appointed property. The only thing I would suggest is that they open the pool hours to maybe 10pm (the quiet time start). It's an adults only property so using the pool after dinner in town would have been a nice way to relax for the evening.

We stayed in the Sugar Palm Studio and it was perfect for our needs. We were fortunate to have other quiet guests staying at the time so it was very peaceful and relaxing. We rented bikes nearby for 2 days and rode all over the area. We felt safe the entire time. We will definitely look into staying again if we return to the Keys!

The location of this property was away from the action, but close enough to get there. It was clean and well appointed. Our only issue was our neighbors not observing quiet hours, waking us up from 2-3am 2 nights in a row. A message to the operator kept this from happening a 3rd night. Overall, it was a great stay.

Had a lovely time at Sugar Palm Studio. Very private near the beautiful heated pool with waterfall. Even though other guests were in the complex it was very private and peaceful. Bed was fabulous and loved the shower. A little far from Duval if that is your thing. Not a long walk and a quick bike ride. Would stay again.

We drove down to Key West for a short stay before heading to Marathon. The Sugar Palm Studio was ideally placed and convenient to all the local attractions.

The studio was exactly as the photos depicted. It's a nice spot for a short stay, but if we return for a longer getaway, we would definitely rent one of the larger suites with a full kitchen. Overall, I definitely recommend the property and plan to return.

Our room was sparkling clean, the grounds were darling and lush, the pool was clean and refreshing and wonderful to float in and look through the palm trees at the stars after a night of walking Duval Street. I know that sounds corny, but it was really great. If you like to walk the location is fine and even if you don't like to walk the Uber rides were cheap enough. It was quiet and all around great for us. The shower does not have a lot of water pressure, but that is to be expected with older homes. The bathroom was stocked with all kinds of lotions and soaps and our hosts were very responsive to us before, during and after the stay. Would 10 out of 10 recommend. We stayed in Sugar Palm Studio.

This was our second visit to Key West and our second stay at Travelers Palm. Obviously we love the place! Great location, a little away from the lights and sounds of Duval street, but perfectly walkable. We love the room with a great king bed and the peaceful, private outdoor space. Great communication from hosts!

Beautiful facility, wonderful room & amenities, but terrible guests next door (twice). The only problems, besides the psycho neighbors (heard fighting well into the morning, were the thin walls & spotty wifi. Great place that felt very secluded, but close to all the things. Virtual innkeepers were very responsive.

We stayed for our anniversary. It was a beautiful location, and very convenient to getting to and from the airport and close to restaurants, shopping, the beach. We cooled down in the pool everyday. The Sugar Palm Studio was clean and roomy enough for the two of us. We looked forward to coming back to it each day!

Sugar Palm Studio was an excellent affordable place to stay near the sights and sounds of Duval street. Tucked away, just a few blocks away, from the sights of Hemingway House, Duval Street, Southernmost Point, etc. with a wonderful plunge pool for lounging and cooling off steps away in the courtyard.

Our stay couldn't have been better! The Inn is as pretty as the pictures. The Sugar Palm Studio was clean, bed extremely comfortable and the pool area feels so tropical and secluded! The location is great, walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Key West. The property management staff were very responsive and seem so sincere about wanting your stay to be great. We hope to be back again sometime!

This little complex is tucked into a beautifully maintained courtyard just steps from Duval street. We parked our rental car when we arrived, and didn’t use it again until time to leave for the airport! Our unit was clean, well stocked and in great shape. Property managers were prompt with all communication and directions - all expectations were clearly laid out. The pool was absolutely lovely. The ice and water dispensers were a pleasant surprise. We had a great stay!

The property in itself was a peaceful and tranquil setting. The cottages are nestled within dense tropical vegetation for a private feel and the pool fountain provided a calming sound. The unit was clean and well appointed. The kitchenette had everything we needed for the few meals we fixed, and we enjoyed the nearby Cuban restaurant a few times. We recommend for a couple or single traveler because of the quiet and safe neighborhood.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property was not only beautiful and in great condition, It was impeccably spotless and clean. It is only blocks and walking distance to Duval Street but far enough for a quit peaceful get-a -way. Although it’s all street parking, but we never had an issue. What little interaction we had with the property staff, it was very pleasurable and funny at the same time. She apologized for the cold snap, and shared with us that she only gets three days a year to wear her boots and enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate. We are from the Midwest and enjoyed leaving 20° weather and arriving to a place with a chilling 77°. Lol We will definitely revisit this property.

Location of property is quiet and away from the craziness which is perfect for a balanced trip to KW! The waterfall feature in the pool makes for a relaxing day and night; cuts the noise of others coming and going. Place is very clean, very well maintained and has everything you need for your stay! I have already recommended to everyone I know! Also, plenty of parking around property for those driving.

We had a great time...Palm Studio was very clean and loved that it was right next to the pool. However, did have some plumbing issues(sink not draining and only cold water while using the shower). Once I notified the housekeeper they were immediately fixed. The patio area behind the waterfall could have been cleaned up (fallen trees, leaves and debris was still there from the hurricane the week before). Not sure that if this would be a place I would come to again for the price for a 5-day stay.

The rental was fun, quite, clean, everything we needed. We parked and walked everywhere but it is a distance to everything. We came back in the afternoon and enjoyed the pool. The manager girls were amazing with anything we needed.
Funny story we pulled up and my boyfriend said are you kidding how did you find out about this place, I said internet so he was thinking we got scammed. The outside looks like a jungle and how do we get in. Once inside we had our own little world away from the busy Key West life.
The room was clean, comfortable and beautiful.

We stayed in the Sugar Palm Studio for a long weekend, the place was beautifully clean and check in was super easy. The virtual innkeeper was easy to contact and the grounds and pool were wonderfully kept. We specifically loved the lux bedding abs the nicely sized bathroom. Having the shared pool area with ice and water was a nice touch as well. The location of this place is the real winner though, we could easily walk to Duval, the southernmost Point and several other places, and when we didn't feel like walking nearly the anywhere else on the whole island was an $8 Uber ride. We'll certainly be beach on our next trip to town!

My husband and I booked the Sugar Palm Studio for our spring break vacay. When we arrived and saw that the bungalow was across the street from the best Cuban restaurant, that was the first surprise! Once we got our key from the self serve location (super easy BTW), and walked through the gate, it was like a whole other world! Loved how remote and quiet the property felt while being SO CLOSE to Duval, Southernmost Point and the beach... so convenient! The room was well appointed and looked to have been recently updated. Everything was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I LOVED that we were litterally steps away from the pool and that we had lounge chairs that seemed to be reserved for us right by the patio. The only suggestions would be to consider including bikes in the rental and having the debris removed from the pool daily/nightly. We used the complimentary concierge service to reserve a pair of cruisers. They were delivered by Island Rentals when requested, but the bikes were not great. They got us from point A to point B, but were uncomfortable and looked beat up. Overall the pool was clean, but becuase of the beautiful, mature trees, there was a lot of debris in the pool. We primarily used it just to dip into while we sat out after our morning at the beach so we were not in the pool too long. The temperature was great though! My husband and I would love to consider reserving this location again in the future!
